Effluent From Pharmaceutical Industries

Description

SATKRITI-EPI has ability to treat pharmaceutical waste water produced from fermentation, organic synthesis, or combination of the two, those producing vaccine and antitoxins: vitamin. Citric acid, antibiotics or synthetic antibiotics, sulpha drugs, steroid, and prostaglandins. Waste water from pharmaceutical plants are characterized by a high chemical demand, pH, trace metals, unoxidized nitrogen, phosphorous, color, odor, temperature, toxicity and variable concentrations of salts. SATKRITI-EPI is mixture of spores, vegetative cells and enzymes for rapid degradation of highly complex pharmaceuticals waste water.

Heavy metals in high concentration shall inhibit the activity in SATKRITI-EPI. The presence of toxic chemicals above tolerance level can also inhibit the enzyme activity; hence the effluents should be neutralized before the addition of SATKRITIEPI

BENEFITS

  • Eco friendly and biodegradable
  • Nonpathogenic, economical, safe to handle, store and apply
  • Helps in degradation of complex cyclic or straight chain molecules
  • Helps in degradation recalcitrant and other xenobiotics
  • Effective over wide variety of substrate
  • Work efficiently and rapidly
  • Works well in even having high POD
  • Reduce turbidity, sludge build up
  • Potential for anaerobic conditions and foul odors
